Luke Johnson joined the Crusaders Global Academy Player Residency in 2025 with the goal of strengthening every pillar of his rugby performance. Coming from the U.S. collegiate pathway at Army West Point Rugby, Luke entered a high-performance environment led by Grant Keenan that emphasized technical excellence, tactical understanding, and professional standards. The residency combined structured field sessions, individualized gym programming, and a strong performance culture designed to accelerate player development.
